An animal-lover moving to Japan may be disappointed to learn that most Japanese apartments are not pet friendly
Whether your pet is a dog, a cat, a hamster or some fish, you must choose an apartment that allows pets in the first place. Keep in mind that “pet-friendly” may apply only to certain pets. Landlords may place restrictions on the type, size, or number of the pets allowed. Carefully check your case when asking about pet-friendly apartments
In most cases an additional security deposit will be required. This will be used for the cost of cleaning and restoration after moving out.
!! Attention !!

・ In shared spaces, be considerate for those who are not good at animals (eg, hold your pet in an elevator, hallway).
・ No grooming on the balcony (because the balcony is basically a place to hang laundry, hair may scatter and stick to your clothes)
・ Be careful not to get bogged hair in the bathroom.
・ Do not keep pets other than those agreed in the contract
